EN Front brake caliper sliding pin rubber sleeve.

Hello, I’m trying to repair the front brake caliper on my 2019 Bx125. The sliding pin is missing the rubber boot (picture below) so the caliper rattles too much. When trying to put a new rubber boot in, the hole is too small. It looks like a previous owner has inserted a metal sleeve instead of a rubber boot (silver coloured sleeve shown within green circle on other picture)
Can anyone else confirm with their own BX125 if the front caliper has a rubber boot or is the exact same as mine below? The rear caliper on my bike has the rubber boot for the sliding pin.

Is it possible that your brake caliper is no longer the original one?
It could be misleading, but it looks a little different in the picture than the original

Das scheint die Gummi-Gleitbuchse der schwimmenden Sattel-Aufhängung zu sein.
Wie das am Hinterrad aufgebaut ist kann man in dem Video prima sehen:
Bei 2:40 -> 2:55 und 8:21 -> 8:58 und 9:51 -> 11:45.

Ob das am vorderen Sattel identisch ist... ???
Müsste man mal nachsehen. Wenn man Lust hat "mal eben" die Bremse zu zerpflücken...

Das Grundproblem könnte schon sein, dass dieses gar nicht mehr die original Bremszange ist!

Das scheint die Gummi-Gleitbuchse der schwimmenden Sattel-Aufhängung zu sein.

Das ist keine Gleitbuchse sondern ein Stopfen für diese die verhindern soll das kein Schmiermittel austritt und kein Staub und Feuchtigkeit eintritt.

Ich denke da kann man auch einen anderen "Hut" mit festem Sitz verwenden.

Der CBS-Bremssattel vorne meiner kleinen hat 3 Kolben.

Ich meine aufgeschnappt zu haben, dass die bx125 später zur Cromwell wurde? Dazu passt m.E. auch das Bild von Gasgriff.de: Cromwell 125 Bremssystem > www.GASGRIFF.com

@Aaron0796 sorry, this is more of a internal discussion, that's why I write in German. As far as I can see, these rubber boots were not meant to be sold separately by Brixton. But it wouldn't be the first part to be found on different brands or Asian shops like Ali Express.
Can you please provide a better photo of the whole caliper?

It is possible, even if it isn’t original I’m still pretty sure there should be a rubber sleeve over the sliding pin.

No worries, I just think the hole for the sliding pin has had an extra sleeve inserted for some reason in the past, preventing being able to add the rubber boot. No rubber boot means the sliding pin is rattling about in the metal sleeve
